Measurable Social Impact

Our renewable energy portfolio contributes directly to Albania’s 2030 renewable energy target of 54.4%, supporting national energy independence and alignment with European energy integration goals. With over 1,400 MW in total projected capacity and an expected production of more than 3.5 million MWh of clean electricity, our projects reduce carbon emissions while strengthening long-term economic stability.

EU Green Energy actively supports Albania’s transition toward a cleaner energy system by developing large-scale wind and solar projects that contribute directly to the national target of increasing the share of renewable energy in gross final consumption by 2030. Our portfolio strengthens the country’s long-term energy strategy and supports alignment with European energy objectives.

Our renewable energy portfolio includes more than 1,400 MW of projects across wind, solar, and battery storage systems in various stages of development and licensing. This capacity represents a significant contribution to Albania’s clean energy expansion and long-term energy security.

Our projects generate direct and indirect employment opportunities in engineering, construction, technical services, and project development. Beyond job creation, we stimulate regional economic activity by engaging local suppliers, contractors, and service providers throughout the lifecycle of each project.

By producing clean electricity from wind and solar resources, our projects reduce reliance on fossil fuels and contribute to lower carbon emissions. Renewable energy generation supports improved air quality, climate resilience, and a more sustainable national energy mix.

Large-scale renewable infrastructure increases domestic energy production capacity, reduces dependence on energy imports, and enhances grid stability. By diversifying the national energy portfolio, we help build a more resilient and reliable energy system for businesses and communities.

Our investments in renewable energy infrastructure provide long-term economic stability, cleaner environmental conditions, and sustainable energy access. By developing projects with a forward-looking perspective, we contribute to a stronger, low-carbon energy future for Albania.
