About Us
Founded in 2008 by President and CEO Alfons Uka, the company “EU Green Energy”, formerly known as “MAK Albania” sh.p.k, a future-focused green energy, has emerged as one of the key players in Albania renewable energy sector, along with its partners “ELB Ndertuesi” sh.p.k, “Intesig” sh.p.k,“Solares – Solar Energy Solutions”sh.p.k, “Elbabeton”sh.p.k, “Standard Alb”sh.p.k, and “Balkan Utilities Company”sh.p.k.
In the course of years, the company in cooperation with its partners has expanded its role in the energy sector.
Below are some of the “EU Green Energy” and Partners projects:
i. Design and construction
Design and construction of the first phase of the hydro power plant 3.8MW, Librazhd and the second phase 2.4MW;
iv. Design of the 7.2MW hydro
Design of the 7.2MW hydropower cascade, with 5 hydro power plants, Staravecke-Skrapar, for the concessionaire “KroiMbret” sh.p.k .;
ii. Projection & implementation
Projection and implementation ofthe 520kW hydro power plant Fushe Arrez, Puke, the first phase of the project of the 9.6MW Goska hydro power
v. Design of the hydro power
Design of the hydro power cascade in the river Gjader 24MW, with 6 hydro power plants, for a group of concessionaires;
iii. Projection and construction
Projection and construction of the 2.4MW Gjegjan hydro power plant, Puke and 1.5MW Bisak, Mirdite for the company “A&S Energji” sh.p.k .;
vi. The final phase of the project
vi. The final phase of the project-design for the 30MW cascade of the Shkumbin River (medium flow) and the 30MW cascade in the Gostima River
